Consultancy

The objective of ekanban goes beyond offering a digital tool for the supply chain management.

The Ekanban service pack includes the consultancy service whose main objective is to know the problem and the needs of each enterprise and thus to develop turnkey solutions.

The consultancy service includes the following:

  • Visit to the enterprise in order to know the reality and the customer´s needs: knowledge of the value chain, product type, references, consumptions…
  • Development of a turnkey solution: selection of ekanban references, dimensioning of the circuits and definition of the consumption points.
  • Definition of KPI´s and improvement potential.
  • Advisory and prescription of labelling and printing of the labels.

Implementation

Once the customer approves the proposed solution, ekanban performs the implementation of the system.

During this phase the following tasks are carried on:

  • Configuration of the ekanban platform for the customer.
  • Installation of the reading equipment:
    • Smartphone and the ekanban application (developped internally in collaboration of Batura Mobile), for the case of QR system.
    • RFID devices (developped internally in collaboratin of Embeblue), for the case of the RFID system.
  • Training to the customer, about the use of the ekanban platform and the reading devices.

Trial Phase

Ekanban offers a trial phase of three months. During this period, the customer is able to start working with the system and thus verify the effectiveness of the system when answering to his needs.

During this period the ekanban team offers the following services:

  • Continuous monitoring and control of the system.
  • Periodic meetings with the customer in order to make know the evolution of the stablished KPI´s.
  • Report of the obtained results over this period.

Consolidation

Once the trial phase has ended, if the customer feels satisfied with the obtained results and wants to continue working with the system, it is taking a step to consolidation.

Ekanban gives robustness to the system and access to the following services:

  • Access to the ekanban platform.
  • Access to the Business Intelligence platform.
  • Periodical reports.
  • Tracking and monitoring.
  • System maintenance (platform and QR or RFID readers).
  • Extension of the system to other references.
